(3-14-20) Cass County Sheriff Richard Behnke reports that deputies responded to a personal injury traffic crash on US 12 near Vera Dr. in Cass County’s Porter Township on 3-13-2020 at 3:25pm.
Investigation of the crash showed that a pick-up, being driven by Alexander Earl (26) of Goshen, IN was stopped to turn left into a driveway, when his vehicle was struck by a car, driven by Jennifer Kindhart (30 yrs) of Three Rivers. Kindhart didn’t yield right of way to Earl’s vehicle and didn’t appear to slow down before striking the other vehicle. Kindhart was transported to Three Rivers Hospital for minor injuries.
Alcohol was not a factor and both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Assisting on scene was the Porter Township Fire Department. The crash remains under investigation.
