(10-21-18) On 10/19/18 at 1:48 am Deputy Phillips of the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office effected a traffic stop on a blue colored Chevrolet Cavalier in the 2100 Block of S. 11th St. Township of Niles, for a defective equipment violation.

#1: Possession with the Intent to Deliver Methamphetamines.
#2: Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
#3: Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
#4: Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
#5: Receiving & Concealing a Stolen Firearm.
#6: Possession with the Intent to Deliver Schedule 4 narcotics.
#7: Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony.
#8: Driving on a Suspended Operator’s License.
#9: Valid Warrant out of Berrien County for Contempt of Court.

During a subsequent search of this vehicle, Deputy Phillips located and seized the following items.

#1: Two handguns, one of which was reported stolen out of Kent County, Michigan.
#2: Approximately 45 grams of Methamphetamines.
#3: 291 various prescription pills, including Clonazepam, Alprazolam, Oxycodone, and Hydrocodone.

Joseph Blair was also placed under arrest for the above mentioned charges and lodged at the Berrien County Jail, pending his arraignment in the Berrien County Trial Court.
A charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
