BH Plate
(6-17-20) The City of Benton Harbor has gone to pay by plate for parking at Jean Klock Park.

Jean Klock Park, open May 25, 2020-October 31, 2020, has changed its method of payment for patrons desiring to park at the park. Two Kiosks are currently located at the beach: one by the Beach house building, and the other at the first corner of the parking lot. This system is similar to the parking system at other local beaches. An eParking app is currently in development.

Pricing structure for beach parking has changed as well. City Residents are eligible for free passes, and need to contact City Hall at 269-927-8400 Ext 8416 to obtain one. Season passes are also available at a rate of $35.00 for non-residents, and can be purchased via the same telephone number.

Additionally, per the City of Benton Harbor Ordinances, Golf Carts are strictly prohibited from the beach. Golf Cart owners in violation will be cited and their cart may be towed. The City of Benton Harbor also strictly prohibits animals in the park. Pet owners in violation of this ordinance may be cited upon discovery as well.
