(06/16/2020) This afternoon at 4:45 pm Deputies from the Berrien County Sheriff Office responded to South 11th St. near Fort Street in Niles Twp. For a two car motor vehicle collision.
Upon arrival Deputies found that a Red Nissan Sentra exiting the Speedway gas station onto S11th St. had failed to yield the right of way traveling into the path of a Blue Ford Explorer truck that was traveling south bound on South 11th St.
The Ford Explorer collided with the front driver side door of the Nissan Sentra.
The driver of the Ford Explorer a 72 year old male and the front seat passenger a 61 year old female both from Niles,were both transported to Memorial Hospital in Indiana for non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Nissan a 56 year old female from Dowagiac was transported to Memorial Hospital in Indiana for serious possible life threatening injuries.
The front seat passenger of the Nissan a 56 year old female from Edwardsburg was transported to Memorial Hospital in Indiana for non-life threatening injuries.
This Collision remains under investigation by the Berrien County Accident Investigation Team.
