HORSE RACING AUTHORITY UPDATE
Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport Charles Ramson Jr. says the long-awaited Guyana Horse Racing Authority has been approved and is now expected to begin its work.
The Authority is expected to regulate and professionalise horse racing in Guyana, including the licensing of racetracks, jockeys and official race meets.
With the sport showing major growth and investment in recent years, this marks an important step for the future of the sport of kings.
