UPDATED 8-10-19 –
On 08/09/2019 Detectives from BHDPS and the MSP MCU developed leads that located the wanted 21 year old suspect Eric Holbrook in the River Terrace apartment complex. Officers from BHDPS, MSP, and BCSD established a perimeter and Eric Holbrook, who had a valid warrant for his arrest surrendered to officers without incident.
A 43 year old female was also taken into custody in relation to this investigation; her information and potential charges are being withheld pending arraignment
24 year old suspect Dennis Holbrook was also arrested on a warrant after being treated and released from Spectrum Health Lakeland for his alleged involvement in this matter and is being held in the Berrien County Jail.
Eric and Dennis are brothers and will be arraigned next week in Berrien County Courthouse.
On 08/09/2019 BHDPS officers assisted by MSP Troopers located Dondrell Blackamore Jr. Blackamore was arrested and lodged in the Berrien County Jail for a warrant unrelated to this incident.

(Benton Harbor) On 07/31/2019, at 4:38 pm BHDPS officers responded to a shots fired call in the 800 Block of Superior. Upon arrival officers found two victims, a 29 year old Benton Harbor man and 32 year old Benton Harbor woman. Officers began to render aid however the 29 year old male later identified as Arsenio Jordan passed away at the scene. The 32 year old female was transported to Spectrum Health Lakeland where she was treated and in stable condition.
While working this scene Saint Joseph officers responded to Spectrum Health Lakeland for a complaint of a 24 year old male with a gunshot wound. That male was also treated and is a suspect in this matter being held on an unrelated matter pending arraignment.
Benton Harbor DPS Detectives are seeking help to solve this matter.

BHDPS officers were assisted by the Saint Joseph DPS, Michigan State Police Major Crimes Unit, FBI Violent Crimes Task Force, Berrien County Homicide Task Force and Berrien County Sheriff’s Department.
