CHASE BRAWLEY

(7-29-26) The next student in the MGCF Scholarship Spotlight Series is a 2026 graduate of Niles High School, CHASE BRAWLEY.

Brawley received the AJ Smith Memorial Scholarship and the Bill Weaver Memorial Scholarship. The AJ Smith Memorial Scholarship provides $1000 to assist with college expenses for a student pursuing a degree in a vocational, industrial, or technical field. The Bill Weaver Memorial Scholarship provides $1000 towards the cost of college to a male athlete from Niles High School.

Chase will be attending North Central College in Illinois in the fall. He plans to major in fire science and continue the career that he began in high school as a firefighter. While at North Central, Chase will be playing football. His long-term goal is to become a Fire Chief and serve his community with integrity and compassion.

While in high school, Chase participated in football, wrestling, and track and field. He was a member of the National Honor Society, the National Technical Honor Society, Students Against Destructive Decisions, and was a class officer. Chase is CPR certified, Community Emergency Response Team certified, and has his Commercial Driver’s License. He is a volunteer firefighter for Pokagon Township and has assisted in emergencies and responded to emergency calls.
