(1-21-23) Three of four ‘Into Mischief‘ fillies were sold this past weekend at the Heritage Place 2023 Winter Mixed Sale. The last of the four fillies that was scheduled to be sold on Saturday was withdrawn.
Veteran quarter horse owner, Iowa’s Tom Scheckel, picked up ‘Second Thought‘ for $39,000…the highest price paid for any of the three that sold.
Scheckel replied to a SNE email-
Yes my plans are to race her ! Then make a broodmare out of her! She is a nice filly and good size ! Also out of a good first dam family!!
Maryland’s Marvin Fuentes paid $22,000 for ‘Hello Mischief’ and Jamie Gomez from California purchased Hip #723 for $28,000

‘Into Mischief‘ is one of the top thoroughbred stallions in the world stands at Sprendrift Farm (Ky) for $250,000…but was made available for a $10,000 fee (AI). The opportunity to use one of the top producing thoroughbred stallions does not happen very often. Bringing in thoroughbred blood to quarter horse racing is nothing new…now we wait to see the results.
