(1-8-21) On 01/07/21 at 5:58 pm Deputies from the Berrien County Sheriff Office responded to the Cash Advance business located at 1250 Bell Rd in Niles Twp. for a armed robbery. When Deputies arrived on scene the Suspects had fled the scene.

Witnesses described the suspect as a Black male approximately 5’9’’ and slim build, the suspect was wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, dark colored pants and a face covering.

The suspect did display a hand gun and demand money.

A undetermined amount of money was taken.

The suspect fled the scene in a black SUV style vehicle west bound on Bell Rd.

This robbery remains under investigation by the Berrien County Detective Bureau.
