(12-3-20) Two situations in two different states, Illinois and Indiana, should cause concern for all Americans during the pandemic.

Two restaurants are now facing closure and fines due to violating Governor’s Executive orders. Both have continued to serving customers with inside dining and defying the orders by the state. Just remember Illinois released violent prisoners when the pandemic started to eliminate the spread of COVID 19.

The State of Illinois has released a list of almost 4,000 inmates released from prisons, including 64 convicted of murder, as an attempt to reduce inmate population and stop the spread of coronavirus

This week the two states and local governments want to close, fine and arrest restaurant owners for trying to survive as a business.

In Roscoe, Illinois a waitress, who was leaving Jessica’s Restaurant from work, was given the following citation —

These are just two examples of what is taking place in many communities across America, it is a little frightening to see that an ‘order’ can shut down any business.

The executive order issued by the Allen County Health Department cited “county-based measures and restrictions” designed to slow the spread of the coronavirus. The order includes the state’s mask mandate, and requires businesses like restaurants and bars to have employees wear masks and maintain social distancing. Patrons also must be seated, according to the order.
