(11-14-19) The Danbury School Board of Education has voted to play 8-man football and join the newly formed Northern 8 Conference. The school released the decision in a press release today.
With the addition of Danbury, four schools are presently committed to the new conference. Joining them will be Toledo Christian, Holgate and Stryker. Both Danbury and Stryker played a limited 8 man schedule this season, while Toledo Christian and Holgate played a complete season. With Danbury moving to 8-man football the Sandusky Bay Conference’s River Division will lose one member, no word on the future of another SBC Member Sandusky St. Mary’s, who also played an 8-man schedule this past season.
