Benton Harbor map(10-29-18) On October 29, 2018, at approx 6:45am, a 14 year old girl was walking to her bus stop at the corner of Main and Hull when she was grabbed from behind by an unknown male subject.
The victim fought the subject off and the suspect ran in a eastbound
direction. The suspect stands approx 5’09” tall and weighs approx. 180 lbs.
The suspect was wearing a dark blue or black sweatshirt with a Nike
emblem. The victim is unsure of the suspect’s race.
It should be noted that the investigation shows that the suspect was also
seen in the same area on Friday, October 26th wearing the same clothing.
BHDPS is urging that all parents be especially vigilant and walk their
children to their bus stops. Neighbors should also be vigilant. If you see
something, please say something.
