(8-18-26) In the final race at the 2026 Mercer County Fair….Ants Marching paced to a new track record in a time of 1:52.3 in winning the Signature Series Grand Lake Pace Tent Bates Memorial.

Two-Year-Old Season (Age 2):

  • Showed early speed, establishing a mark of 1:52.2.

Three-Year-Old Season (Age 3):

  • Track Record Performance: Set the track record at Hollywood Dayton Raceway for three-year-old gelded pacers with a lifetime mark of 1:49.0f.
  • Sub-1:49 Speed: Raced down to a lifetime best time (BT) of 1:48.1.
  • Grand Circuit & Major Stakes: Competed in marquee 3-year-old events, most notably making the start in The Little Brown Jug as well as competing in the Ohio Sire Stakes (OHSS) circuit.

This summer he broke the pacing track record at the Shelby County Fair in Sidney, Ohio (Joe Strayer Memorial Free For All Pace) in 1:56, winning by more than 12 lengths
