(10-11-22) Former Hawaii US Representative Tulsi Gabbard announced on social media that she is leaving the Democratic Party.

I’m leaving the Democratic Party

(Oct 11, 2022) I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue and stoke anti-white racism, actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms enshrined in our Constitution, are hostile to people of faith and spirituality, demonize the police and protect criminals at the expense of law-abiding Americans, believe in open borders, weaponize the national security state to go after political opponents, and above all, are dragging us ever closer to nuclear war.

I believe in a government that is of the people, by the people, and for the people. Unfortunately, today’s Democratic Party does not. Instead, it stands for a government of, by, and for the powerful elite.

I’m calling on my fellow common sense independent minded Democrats to join me in leaving the Democratic Party. If you can no longer stomach the direction that so-called woke Democratic Party ideologues are taking our country, I invite you to join me.

It takes courage for Gabbard to make the move in these times of political change to the far left.

Two so-called Republicans should leave the party as they are disruptive to the process…both US Representatives and both currently lame ducks…Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney.

Both have shown they are not a part of the party by constantly attacking party leaders. If they feel that way be bold like Tulsi Gabbard and leave the Republican Party. Kinzinger blamed redistricting for why he did not run for re-election in Illinois, while Cheney lost by double-digits in the Wyoming Republican primary. After her loss she compared herself to President Abraham Lincoln-

“This primary election is over, but now the real work begins.”

“Lincoln ultimately prevailed, he saved our union and he defined our obligations as Americans for all of history. Speaking at Gettysburg of the great task before us, Lincoln said, ‘That we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain – that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom – and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.’”

They both say they want to unite the party and change it to the way they want it…but both have hate for President Trump and that has driven their political careers since January 6th and their contempt for the Republican Party. This would be a great time for them to leave before the mid-term elections…but they won’t, that would take courage.
