Two Sides To Every Story: DC Protest Goes Unnoticed By National Media

(2-9-21) While the US Senate starts the second impeachment trial of former President Donald, this one for ‘insurrection‘, the national media made it a point not to cover a protest in DC this past weekend.

At the protest DC Police were called into action despite over 6,000 National Guard troops who are still defending the Capitol area. Protestors clashed with officers during the ‘peaceful’ protest.

In August of 2020…The DC Democratic Mayor Muriel Bowzer talked about D.C.’s history of protests, from the March on Washington to demonstrations after the killing of George Floyd, to urge people to “come together” around the presumptive presidential nominee Joe Biden and his running mate, Kamala Harris, who she called “our next vice president, my sister.”

She criticized President Donald Trump and his administration for forcefully dispersing demonstrators who flooded D.C.’s streets to protest George Floyd’s death in police custody.

An America where the president doesn’t fan the flames of racism, and looks out for all of us.

She did not make any comments or statements after the latest protest turned violent.
