(9-13-20) Today the National Football League will open up an unusual season of competition in 2020. The focus will not be on empty seats in the stadiums, no pre-season games or even COVID 19…but their fight against racism in the US.
NFL To Play Black National Anthem Before Week 1 Games
Today you will most likely hear the ‘Black National Anthem’ before the Stat Spangled Banner and you will see a sign of open support for BLM and what they consider victims of police by teams and players-
So what does all of this mean for the future of professional football in America?
Some of those ‘victims’ the NFL will honor today —
The NFL is following the lead of the NBA of moving this direction.
