Coloma Grad

(6-26-20) This afternoon the Michigan Sheriff’s Association (MSA) Executive Director Matt Saxton and Sheriff Paul Bailey presented Tony Craft with the Michigan Sheriff’s Association Criminal Justice Scholarship. MSA offers a $1,000 scholarship to five graduating high school seniors. One student from each of the five Districts who are interested in pursuing a career in criminal justice are chosen for this scholarship.

Tony has been a member of the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Explorer Post 602 for four years and currently serves as Captain. The Explorer Post 602 is sponsored by the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #96 and hosted at the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office. Tony is a 2020 graduate of Coloma High School and plans on attending Lake Michigan College this fall.

Sheriff Bailey said-

“We are so proud of Tony for all his hard work and commitment. We wish him well in achieving his goal and  dreams to become a police officer.”
