Houseworth calls it a career….

Pat Houesworth

Veteran Umpire Pate Houseworth says good-by to umpiring tonight with his last time on the diamond in tonight’s semi-finals.  Houseworth will soon be turning 70. He will be behind the plate for tonight’s Bryan-Bellefontaine game in his final job.

…just wanted to prove I could go out on my terms and I done did that…walking away with my health … but I knew after the brutal heat of the entire ACME Season{after the bitter winter} it was time…
