(8-4-25) Illinois Gover JB Pritzker continues to push his ‘RADICAL‘ left agenda. He is presently harboring Texas Democrats who decided to avoid a a vote on redistricting issue.

Questions concerning Pritzker’s actions… who is paying the bill for the Texas Democrats stay, is Pritzker’s interference in Texas politics an issue that could lead to legal action against him.

Pritzker continues to defy federal law and encourage citizens to create havoc, not just in Illinois but around the USA.

Reports in early 2025 indicated that Pritzker made remarks that some interpreted as inciting unrest or violence, particularly against Republicans. 

Pritzker’s statements, which included calls for “mass protests, for mobilization, for disruption” and that Republicans “cannot know a moment of peace,” drew criticism. Some Republicans saw these comments as inflammatory and potentially inciting violence, with the Illinois Republican Party issuing a release titled “Pritzker calls for violence against Republicans“.

Protecting Undocumented Immigrants: Pritzker defends the state’s TRUST Act, which limits local law enforcement’s ability to assist in civil immigration enforcement and prohibits detaining individuals based solely on their immigration status. This act aims to build trust between immigrant communities and law enforcement, encouraging crime reporting without fear of deportation.

Concerns about Federal Actions: Pritzker has voiced concerns about the federal government’s actions regarding immigration enforcement, criticizing tactics that he sees as politically motivated or that infringe upon established legal processes and due process rights. He has also stated that Illinois will not participate in what he considers violations of the law or abuses of power by the federal government.

Defending Illinois’ Policies: Pritzker has appeared before Congress to defend Illinois’ policies, including the TRUST Act, in the face of federal pressure to take a different approach to immigration enforcement

The Illinois TRUST Act, enacted in 2017, generally prohibits state and local law enforcement from participating in federal immigration enforcement. Its main goals are to foster trust between law enforcement and immigrant communities and prevent interactions from leading to detention or deportation based on immigration status. Specifically, the act prevents law enforcement from holding individuals solely on the basis of an ICE detainer request

Support Services: Illinois has dedicated significant funds to assist asylum seekers, including providing shelter, emergency housing, food, clothing, and legal aid.

Healthcare: Illinois has a long-standing program providing healthcare benefits to certain immigrant adults and seniors who are not eligible for other programs like Medicaid, according to Illinois Policy. However, the state has recently announced some changes to the program, with the adult benefits (HBIA) being discontinued for new enrollees and the senior benefits (HBIS) continuing with an enrollment cap.

Welcoming Centers: These centers provide crucial resources and support for new arrivals as they settle into their communities.

Immigrant Legal Support: Illinois also funds programs to provide legal assistance to immigrants, helping them navigate the complex immigration system.

Education: The Illinois Dream Act allows for scholarships and college savings programs to be available for undocumented students graduating from Illinois high schools. 

Pritzker has been silent on the situation in crime riddled Chicago and his actions to control the violence in the city…is to do nothing.

In 2023, there were 72,143 abortions (comparable to Schaumburg’s population that is listed as 75,750), according to the Illinois Department of Public Health. This number includes out-of-state residents who received abortions in Illinois. The Guttmacher Institute estimates that the total number of abortions in Illinois, including those performed on Illinois residents in other states, was closer to 90,590.
