(4-20-25) Indiana lawmakers have passed a bill to invite Illinois counties into the Hoosier State. The House voted to concur with the Senate version on April 17.

“One group wants to form a new state and would not be interested in joining Indiana. A second group would prefer to join Indiana or Missouri. The third group doesn’t care, they just want to separate from the state (Illinois).”
