Narrative:

(4-5-25) On Saturday morning at 0115 emergency responders were dispatched to the area of Glendora Rd near Garr Rd for an unknown injury traffic crash.  Upon arrival, Deputies found a Jeep SUV lying on it’s passenger side and located the driver in the rear portion of the vehicle. They were able to break out the back window and get the driver out.  The driver was found to be unresponsive but with a pulse.  The driver, identified as Dennis Bogdanich (44) of Bunker Hill, Indiana was taken to Memorial Hospital in South Bend and it being treated for life threatening head and neck trauma.

Crash investigators found that a local resident reported hearing a vehicle traveling at a high speed and then hearing a loud boom.  Evidence at the scene indicates that the Jeep SUV was northbound traveling too fast for the wet road conditions to safely negotiate a curve and lost control spinning off the roadway and striking a tree and overturning.

The driver was not wearing his seat belt and speed and alcohol appear to be factors in this early morning collision.
