(1-12-24) It is a short trip from Allentown, Pennsylvania to East Palestine, Ohio…by Interstate I-76 it is 327 miles and about a 3 hr trip by car.

President Joe Biden will visit the Allentown area today to discuss America’s economy.

The White House said President Biden will discuss his “Bidenomics” and “Investing in America” agendas.

So this would be a great time for the ‘promised’ visit by President to go to East Palestine to see the conditions of the chemical spill train derailment that happened last year.

In early September in Florida while viewing the damage of Hurricane Idalia President Biden said-

“Well, I haven’t had the occasion to go to East Palestine (Ohio). There’s a lot going on here, and I just haven’t been able to break.”

I was thinking whether I’d go to East Palestine this week, but I was reminded I’ve got to go literally around the world. I’m going from Washington to India to Vietnam.”

But the President is not busy for a campaign stop today in Allentown.

Meanwhile the world today is concerned about the air strikes that took place yesterday in Yemen…and before going on his trip to Allentown the President said —

CNNUS attacks in Yemen sharpen Biden’s military and political dilemmas

“These targeted strikes are a clear message that the United States and our partners will not tolerate attacks on our personnel or allow hostile actors to imperil freedom of navigation in one of the world’s most critical commercial routes. I will not hesitate to direct further measures to protect our people and the free flow of international commerce as necessary.”

Don’t forget about having the Secretary of Defense and the issue that took place when he went ‘MIA” last week.
