Miss World America’s State/National/Chief Director accused me of being racist, Islamaphobic, and insensitive.
They stripped me of my Miss Michigan title due to my refusal to try on a hijab in 2018, my tweet about black on black gun violence, and “insensitive” statistical tweets. pic.twitter.com/K1Btho0Pgq

(7-22-19) Miss Michigan Kathy Zhu (Miss World America) was stripped of her title on Thursday for what she calls discrimination against her conservative political views.
Zhu, is a University of Michigan student, was dismissed from the Miss World America pageant when the organization described the content of her social media as-
“offensive, insensitive and inappropriate”
The dismissal of Zhu has gone viral on social media, with backlash coming from both sides.
These are some of the disgusting comments posted by my high school’s students. Some of them are actually teachers! pic.twitter.com/InmW3AJAGv

When the left calls you racist for using statistics to back up your claim, you know you’re on the right side of history.

You are a disgrace to your race

I stand with you Kathy.
I am an Iranian woman who was subjected to wearing what I call a shackle #Hijab
I am so PROUD OF YOU for REJECTING that symbol of OPPRESSION. 👊💖 pic.twitter.com/kIPkirI1Ye— Roya(Trump2020) رویا (@ZibaLady1) July 21, 2019
This week’s challenge: sit down with someone on the opposite side of the political spectrum and discuss your similarities and differences.
If we do this, I bet we’ll find common ground.
Let’s try to understand each other’s point of view and express our constructive criticism.

I told him how I campaigned for him and Trump for the last two years and how much of an honor it was to meet him and shake his hand. pic.twitter.com/GHYy0Ytv9T

I will not be taking any legal action against the organization, I think they have suffered enough negative publicity – especially because they wanted to decrown me due to not wanting bad publicity in the first place.
When they go low, we go high.
